EmLogis and its predecessors have spent 20 years creating a new approach to solving the real-world challenges of scheduling hourly employees. The challenge was to improve the results for all parties -- employees, managers, and shareholders.

Fifteen of those years were spent using the traditional mathematical solution of linear programming to try and solve the problem. Time and time again, this approach failed to solve the problem when medium to large teams and levels of complexity were involved. Five years ago, we had a breakthrough that changed the focus for the company.

Today we have created a solution around that breakthrough technology - Adaptive Programming. The solution addresses the issues required for companies to increase effectiveness and efficiency and to deliver a winning solution for all parties.
